Friendly Little Monster

I had a dream the other night that pretty much turned into a nightmare, but before it did, we got this dog. When I woke up, I was still a little scared, but the only thought running through my head was:

I must draw the dream doggo. 

    He was all black, but had a German Sheppard- looking body (maybe a bit sleeker)- there may have been a point where he was a puppy, but it was short.
I didn't see his eyes, so that's sort of an artistic liberty (it was my dream, after all)
    Apparently (through dream logic), the people we got him from were sort of necromancers? They'd bury dead dogs, but they'd do something that would make them grow like a seed into a new puppy. A trademark of this process was them getting spotted tongues. It seemed like they were more lich-like demon things that just took over a dog body. He was really sweet and obedient, though.

    He wasn't even responsible for the scary part- in fact he wasn't there. These demons also possessed inanimate objects, so we also had one in a cabbage patch kid.
(Did I mention I was traumatized by the mere thought of Chucky as a kid?) -Anyways, it was cute at first, but then it started doing creepy stuff. It sewed on another pair of legs in a weird way, and when we tried to fix it, it growled at us. It's eyes turned red, and that's where I was scared awake.
    My current nightmares always seem to end on deadly cliff-hangers, and that's what scares me the most about them.

    -But this one wasn't terrible. I thank my dream zombie doggy for that ^~^
